Clopay Elegant Raised Panel vs CHI Polyurethane 3-Layer Door
CHI polyurethane-insulated doors have no shadow lines and a simpler panel design than the Clopay Elegant panel design that Clopay uses on their 3-layer doors. The extra detail and deeper emboss on the Clopay door looks really nice in our opinion.
CHI Doors in 1-Layer, 2-Layer and 3-Layer-Polystyrene Doors
CHI doors in 1-layer, 2-layer and 3-layer polystyrene doors have the same simpler panel design as above, but have shadow lines (horizontal grooves at the top and the bottom of the section). Amarr 1-layer and 2-layer doors look almost exactly the same as these doors.
Amarr Garage Doors – Multiple Styles
Amarr 3-layer polystyrene doors in short panel have a simple but nice panel design with no shadow lines. Long panel options DO have shadow lines.
Clopay Traditional Panel Garage Doors (1-Layer and 2-Layer Doors)
Clopay 1-layer and 2-layer raised panel doors have their Traditional panel design, which is very basic and simple without a very deep emboss or detail. These doors can look pretty nice, but we think the other options above are probably a better look. The main advantage to this look is that you get a 1-layer or 2-layer door without shadow lines.
Clopay 4053 Model vs Clopay 9133
We might recommend doing a Clopay 9133 model in long panel vs the 4053 because the emboss on the 9133 is much clearer and sharper than the 4053.
